Tonight I had dinner at the Union Hotel (which has been reopened and remade, moving away form its previous unsavoury image) with some colleagues from the Brunswick Hockey Club.
We are planning some activities for the summer for kids to play hockey in the warmer months. One is a summer competition for under 10s, 13s and 16s at Brunswick Secondary College.
But the other is Hook in2 Hockey - aimed at kids from 6 to 12 - starting on Thursdays from October 31st. Hook in2 Hockey is a great program and Brunswick's is run by Colin Cope who is just sensational at encouraging and managing kids. I look forward to the success this year with Hook in2 Hockey and hopefully some more kids will take up the sport.
