Saving the Brunswick Baths

I have made it clear in this campaign that in the event I am elected to be a Councillor I will be an enthusiastic supporter of proceeding with the $15 million Brunswick Baths redevelopment.

So of course I am overjoyed that the State Government has announced that it will contribute $2.5 million for the project.

Brunswick City Baths is one of the most important community facilities in Brunswick. It is used by everyone—young and old, healthy and infirm. And it has been this way for over ninety years.

Assuming that the post election council proceeds with the redevelopment the new Brunswick City Baths will help meet the needs of Brunswick's changing population.
